Everything I build now traces back to watching good businesses lose hours and money to problems that software solved a decade ago.
Before launching AetherForge Neural, I spent years working deep in the technical weeds of language technology, NLP model evaluation, and software localization. I studied Computer Science and Japanese at Shawnee State University and previously founded and led AILinguaTech. I saw firsthand how quickly AI and modern development tools were advancing — and how completely disconnected they were from the real world of hardworking trades, contractors, and local businesses. AetherForge Neural was built to bridge that gap: not to sell bloated corporate software, but to build clean, fast, custom web platforms, in-house tools, and practical automations that save business owners real hours every single week.

- Six years abroad
Living and working in Japan
I took a long respite from home and spent six years living in Japan. I learned another language properly, worked inside a business culture that treats precision and service as the baseline, and got a very different view of how companies organize themselves. Those six years are the reason I can sit comfortably with a client in Tokyo or a contractor in Boyd County — and bring what I learned in one place back to the other.

Computer Science and Japanese
I studied both, which sounds like two unrelated degrees until you spend a career translating between people and machines. That combination turned into work in localization, computational linguistics, and NLP model evaluation — teaching systems to understand how humans actually write and speak.

Founding my first company
I founded and led AILinguaTech through December 2025 — AI language data engineering, Japanese-to-English localization, and model evaluation work. It taught me how AI systems really behave under load, where they fail, and how much of the value is in the unglamorous engineering around the model rather than the model itself.

Watching the tools outrun the people who needed them
The tooling got extraordinary and stayed pointed at enterprises. Meanwhile roofers, clinics, rental yards, and family shops were still retyping the same job into four places at 9pm. That gap is not a technology problem. It is a distribution problem, and it is fixable.

So I built the shop I wished existed: published pricing, plain language, real ownership of what you pay for, and technology aimed squarely at giving a business its hours and its margin back. I run it from home in Catlettsburg, mostly around my daughter Lilika's schedule — which, honestly, is the best possible reason to build software that respects other people's time.
